Black House Media wins award for innovation in communications
Lagos-based media and communications consultancy Black house Media (BHM) has been given The Best Innovation in PR Practice Award by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). The award recognises the firm’s creative efforts in the domain of service delivery and information.
BHM is among the leading public relations and communications consultancies in the country, having served a variety of clients since its establishment in 2005. Services offered by the firm include public relations, media management, crisis management, brand promotion and corporate communications, among others.
The firm has a leading staff with expertise in content development, image consulting, publicity and perception, which has earned it widespread recognition in Nigeria. Over the last year, the firm has also been evolving its suite of services to integrate more with the digital arena.
Public relations is a field that has been in sharp focus in Nigeria recently, with the Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria organising a number of events to disseminate skills in the domain across the country. BHM was recognised at the Lagos PR Industry Gala and Awards.
The NIPR recognised BHM’s innovative approach, based on its progress towards digitalisation. Specific criteria used by the institution include creativity, bespoke approach in service delivery, as well as processes and usage of technology for communication briefings. BHM scored highly across the board.
This is not the first award that BHM has received from NIPR recently. Last year, the firm was given the award for The Best Agency Using New Media in 2018 as well as for proficiency in the use of New Media in 2018.
