Liranz Consulting bags yet another award for its business in West Africa

Accra-based IT services firm Liranz has received its second major award of the year, this time being bestowed with the Business Innovative Award by The American International Theology University. The award is in specific recognition of the firm’s contribution to business in Western Africa.

Base in Accra, Ghana, Liranz is conceptualised as an IT services firm, which offers a broad range of services within this domain, including IT support, security and virus protection, project support & strategy, cloud-based solutions, as well as services in the data management domain.

Given the wave of digitalisation sweeping across the African continent, Liranz’s position as an IT services firm has placed it in contact with nearly every sector of the Ghanaian economy, including Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Legal Services, Logistics & Transport, Healthcare, and a number of others.

The firm’s operations also extend into the philanthropic domain through its Liranz Foundation, which specifically focuses on youth empowerment in Ghana – an area that professionals across the country are currently working towards improving. To this end, the foundation offers young entrepreneurs with training in the domain of leadership and technical skills.

In recognition of its expansive work across West Africa, as well as its philanthropic activity, Liranz has now been handed the Business Innovative Award by The American International Theology University. The award was presented in a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dubai, and was received by CEO at Liranz Nicholas Bortey.

Bortey expressed his gratitude to all the support the firm has received in recent years, adding, “It means we can now deliver more for our clients using both our deep technical skills and relationship with SAP and Decision Inc.’s extensive experience and expertise driving transformation through SAP solutions."

This is the second major accolade bestowed on Liranz this year. In July, the firm was the recipient of two awards at the Ghana Information Technology and Telecom Awards. The two categories topped by Liranz were that of IT Consulting Firm of the Year and the Managed IT Services Porivder of the Year.
