Digital Jewels organises dinner and conference to mark 10th anniversary

Lagos-based information communications technology consultancy Digital Jewels has completed a decade in operation, and marked the occasion with an official dinner held in Lagos, a thanksgiving service, and the Information Value Chain (IVC) Forum that was in its 71st edition.

Digital Jewels was conceptualised in 2008 as an IT consulting firm, and has since rapidly expanded in terms of business as well as scope of services. Among its range of unique offerings, the Digital Jewels is the first African firm to be awarded three separate ISO certifications, numbered 27001, 20000 and 22301.

The firm’s service offerings include support with governance, risk & compliance strategies, capacity building techniques, penetration tests, information management audits, recruitment, business continuity and a number of others.

Digital Jewels has now completed ten years in operation, during which time it has expanded its reach to support firms across the region of Africa. Digital connectivity across Africa is on the rise and the firm has found itself among a stream of business, particularly as the business environment begins to embrace digital implements.

The occasion was marked with a dinner, a conference and a thanksgiving service held in Lagos. Commenting at the event, Managing Director at the firm Adedoying Odunfa said, “Today, as we celebrate this significant milestone, it is important to say special thanks to God Almighty who has been good to us, our supportive board of directors who stood with us, our faithful clientele who had faith in us, and our most industrious team who had given strength to the vision.”

“So far, we have worked assiduously to support the corporate players in the African economic space with the requisite knowledge and expertise to utilize Information, Internet and Communications Technology to their strategic advantage,” she added.

The firm has achieved tremendous success since it was established, having completed more than 65 projects, “delivered  more than 45 certifications,” offered training to more than 4,000 professionals through more than 500 training sessions. The firm also boasts having organised as many as 71 IVC forums, the latest of which was held alongside the anniversary dinner.
