Forvis Mazars to take part in MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power 2025 Conference

Professional services firm Forvis Mazars has confirmed its participation as a Bronze Sponsor at the MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power 2025 Conference, taking place in Dakar from December 8-10.

The MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power Conference brings together leaders from across West Africa – including Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and Guinea – to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the region’s energy market. The event provides a platform for industry stakeholders to explore investment prospects and gain insights into emerging projects, ranging from gas pipelines to Europe to large-scale green hydrogen initiatives.

The conference will feature a strong lineup of high-profile speakers, including ministers, investors, and industry executives, who will share their perspectives to help drive dialogue and progress in the region’s energy sector.

Commenting on the collaboration with Forvis Mazars, Sandra Jeque, Project Director at Energy Capital & Power, said: “Forvis Mazars’ participation as a Bronze Sponsor highlights the crucial role of financial and advisory expertise in advancing the region’s energy future. Their involvement reinforces the importance of transparent governance, effective risk management and strong institutional frameworks in unlocking investment.”

“We look forward to their contribution at this year’s conference as we convene stakeholders to drive sustainable growth across West Africa’s energy sector.”

In Senegal, Forvis Mazars supports energy operators with audit, tax and advisory services, including landmark projects such as Senegal’s Sangomar oilfield – which produced nearly 17 million barrels in its first year – and the cross-border GTA LNG terminal, which delivered its first LNG cargo in April 2025.

Forvis Mazars has over 200 professionals in its Dakar office and the backing of the $5 billion Forvis Mazars international network, the firm combines global reach with on-the-ground expertise.
