HYT Consulting launches second edition of Employability Bootcamp in Lagos
HYT Consulting, a human capital development firm operating across Nigeria and Ghana, has announced the launch of the second edition of its Employability Bootcamp.
Scheduled to take place from 3 to 7 November 2025 in Lagos, the five-day intensive training seeks to bridge the divide between academic qualifications and workplace readiness among Nigerian graduates. This year’s edition will focus on equipping participants with technical and soft skills relevant to the financial services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) sectors – two of the fastest-growing industries in Nigeria’s economy.
According to HYT Consulting, over 300 recent graduates are expected to participate in the bootcamp, which builds on the success of the inaugural edition held in July.
The programme incorporates pre-training screening, classroom learning, mock interviews, competency assessments, and post-training deployment to partner organisations. Participants will also benefit from ongoing mentorship and performance tracking to ensure sustainable employability outcomes.
Speaking about the initiative, HYT Consulting’s Chief Executive Officer, Folusho Odegbaike, said: “Our Employability Bootcamp was conceived as a bridge between potential and opportunity, transforming graduates into assets employers can immediately trust and deploy.”
Odegbaike noted that the measurable impact of the bootcamp’s first edition has reinforced HYT Consulting’s belief in practical, results-driven interventions. “From our first cohort, 52% of participants secured employment within two months, while 17% were serving in the NYSC programme. These results reaffirm that structured employability training can deliver measurable transformation when backed by committed partners and data-driven design.”
In recognition of the impact of the first edition of the Employability Bootcamp, HYT Consulting received the National Outstanding Performance Award from the National Association of Polytechnic Students.
Founded in 2011, HYT Consulting specialises in human capital development and workforce transformation across sectors. Earlier this year, the consulting firm also launched a dedicated Graduate Training Academy.
