Boston Consulting Group promotes Ali Ziat and Francesco Bosi

Boston Consulting Group, one of the world’s leading strategic consulting firms, has promoted two Africa-based members to Managing Director & Partner.

Based in Casablanca, Ali Ziat has been with Boston Consulting Group since 2014, when he joined after completing his PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Sorbonne Université. A leader within BCG X, the firm’s digital consulting and technology arm, Ziat specializes in data strategy, data science and the application of technology to drive real-world impact for clients across the continent.

Francesco Bosi meanwhile is based in Cairo and has been with the consulting firm since 2016, working across its Casablanca and Cairo offices. He has helped drive some of the region’s most ambitious transformations across technology, artificial intelligence, industrial development, and real estate from national programs to mega-projects spanning Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East.

The senior promotions come hot on the heels of BCG’s Johannesburg office elevating Dawie Scholtz to Managing Director and Partner. He is an expert in the energy and mining sectors.

In Africa, Boston Consulting Group has a team of nearly 600 people working from its offices in Johannesburg, Cairo, Casablanca, Lagos, and Nairobi. Last year, the firm was named one of Africa’s leading management consulting firms.
