Visium Technologies partners with Pro-Profit Consulting for Angola expansion

Visium Technologies, an American technology company, has inked a strategic partnership with Pro-Profit Consulting, an Angola-based management consulting firm.

The memorandum of understanding establishes a collaborative framework to assess market opportunities and facilitate the introduction of TruTrack in the Angolan market. TruTrack is a solution of Visium Technologies that leverages technologies such as internet of things (IoT), 5G, and geospatial to help companies keep track their assets.

The market entry deal focuses on two main sectors: fuel distribution and insurance.

In fuel distribution, TruTrack enables real-time vehicle and container tracking for optimised fleet operations, tank-level monitoring with automated alerts for inventory management, route optimisation to reduce operational costs, and security features such as geofencing and unauthorised movement detection.

Meanwhile, in the insurance sector, TruTrack enhances operations and helps stamp out fraud. Key use cases include real-time asset monitoring for precise location tracking, fraud prevention through tamper-proof audit trails and timestamped data, environmental condition verification using embedded sensors to detect temperature, humidity, shock, and tampering, as well as more streamlined claims processing supported by objective data.

Pro-Profit Consulting, a boutique consulting firm based in Luanda, brings local market knowledge, regulatory expertise, and established networks within Angola’s insurance and fuel distribution industries to the partnership.
