Ghanaian media and public relations consultancy Global Media Alliance has been awarded the title of Best West African PR Consultancy Company at the 2018 edition of the African Brand Awards. The latest edition was held last week in Nigeria and honoured firm across the continent for their innovative capabilities.
The Global Media Alliance was founded in 1998 in South Africa, following which it relocated its operations to Accra in 2001. Since then, the consulting firm has emerged as one of the most prominent media and PR consultancies in Ghana, supporting clients across the neighbouring region of West Africa as well.
Among the firm’s wide range of services is support with public relations, event planning & management, support in the creative domain, media relations as well as support with digital marketing, which is increasing in relevance by the day. The firm has now been recognised for these efforts.
The annual African Brand Awards recognise firms across the continent that have demonstrated excellence in the domains of creativity and innovation, particularly in the branding and branding services sector. Global Media Alliance has been bestowed with the title of the best West African PR Consultancy Company.
Commenting on the award, CEO of Global Media Alliance Ernest Boateng said, “the award simply attests to the company’s resolve, which is to always give the very best to our clients by always providing excellent services to help them grow their brands. This is a testimony to that resolve.”
“This is clear evidence that Global Media Alliance is living true to its mission to positively impact and effect changes within our community and also creates value for our clients and shareholders,” he added. Africa’s entertainment & media sector is developing rapidly and is expected to embrace the new ‘Convergence 3.0’ paradigm.
The new paradigm is facilitating competition, which will drive up the demand for media consultancy services, creating a lucrative environment for the firm to operate in. “We will continue to work hard to satisfy the needs of our clients to project and improve their image in the eyes of all stakeholders, and towards national development,” added Boateng.
